Super Robot Wars Y Game Gets Demo

Bandai Namco Entertainment released a demo on Friday for Super Robot Wars Y, a new entry in the long-running Super Robot Wars crossover strategy role-playing game series. The company released an eight-minute demo trailer.
Players will be able to transfer save data from the demo to the full version of the game. Completion of "Chapter 1" in the demo will entitle players to bonus rewards in the game.
The game will launch on August 28 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. It will include characters and mecha from the following anime and more:
- COMBATTLER V
- Aura Battler Dunbine
- Mobile Fighter G Gundam
- Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury (Season 1)
- Majestic Prince
- Macross Delta: Passionate Walküre
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection
- Getter Robo Arc
There will also be original hero mecha Lunedrache/Lundrache II and pilots Forte Tsukinowa, Echika Y. Franburnett, and Cross Tsukinowa.
Super Robot Wars 30 launched in October 2021 for PS4 and Switch in both Japan and Southeast Asia (in English). The game launched for PC via Steam in the same regions as well as in the West on the same day.
