Millie's Library, a leading Korean subscription-based reading platform, officially launched its webtoon service on September 23, further expanding its ecosystem of “subscription story content.”

The move follows the introduction of “Millie Story” in June, which added web novels and audio web novels to the platform. With the new webtoon offering, Millie's Library now integrates books, web novels, audio content, and webtoons into a single comprehensive subscription service.

The launch emphasizes diversification of original IP. Millie's Library unveiled an exclusive webtoon adaptation of the popular romance web novel Slave of Palace, alongside an AI persona chatbot tied to the story.

The lineup also includes several hit titles with proven popularity, such as Goong, which has accumulated 18.44 million views; the King's Maker series with over 20 million views; and well-known works like Tong, Dokgo, My Z Boyfriend, My Fifth Friend, Do You Believe in Fate?!, and Disaster Girl.

By the end of this year, Millie's Library plans to secure around 48 webtoons, expanding the catalog to approximately 2,300 volumes. Its web novel service is also expected to surpass 10,000 titles within the same timeframe.

Founded in 2016, Millie's Library began as Korea's first subscription-based e-book platform and has since grown into one of the country's largest reading services. The platform has more than 6 million cumulative subscribers.
