Gentosha Comics' Comic Boost platform posted the final chapter of Nokuto Koike's Ghostly Darkness of Kanata manga on Friday.
Titan Manga publishes the series in English and describes the story:
A gripping supernatural thriller that blurs the line between reality and the afterlife, where one woman's obsession with ghosts leads her into a world of terror.
Koike launched the series on Gentosha Comics' Comic Boost platform in September 2023. Gentosha shipped the second compiled book volume in October 2024. Titan Manga will ship the first volume in English on December 9.
Koike launched the ongoing Tonari no Jiisan (My Old Man Neighbor) manga in Shonengahosha's Young King magazine in March 2024.
He launched the ongoing Serial Killer Land manga on Akita Shoten's Manga Cross website in August 2021.
Koike drew a tribute manga for DreamWorks and Paramount's live-action Ghost in the Shell film in February 2017.
Koike collaborated as the artist with Ryukishi07 on the Hotaru-Bi no Tomoru Koro ni (When the Firefly Light Burns) manga. The manga is part of the Koro ni series and launched in Futabasha's Monthly Action magazine in March 2016 and ended in February 2018.
He also worked on the 6000 - Rokusen horror manga, which launched in Gentosha's Comic Birz magazine in 2010 and ended in 2012. A live-action Hollywood adaptation of the film was once in the works.
