New Korean-Animated Family Series Somacguffin: Click! World Adventure Premieres on November 9 on EBS

Korean educational broadcasting studio EBS and Sandbox Network, a Korean MCN company, will jointly release a new family animation series titled Somacguffin: Click! World Adventure. The series will debut on November 9 at 11:55 a.m. KST on EBS 1TV.
The 13-episode (26-segment) series marks a shift for EBS from preschool-oriented content to programs targeting elementary-age children and families. Maintaining the broadcaster's educational focus, the show balances learning with entertainment to create a family-friendly series that aims to be enjoyed by all ages.
The story follows Somac and his family, who win a world travel prize and embark on an adventure across Spain, Australia, Brazil, and Egypt. Each episode features new challenges involving mysterious game creatures called Randions, along with lively depictions of global landmarks such as Spain's La Tomatina festival and London's Big Ben.
The project combines EBS's educational expertise with Sandbox Network's creator-based IP and digital storytelling capabilities. The animated series is based on the IP of the popular YouTube creator Somacguffin, who has over 10 million subscribers, bridging online fandom and traditional TV audiences.
