"Onigiri" Official Service Date Announced

MMORPG "ONIGIRI" OFFICIAL SERVICE DATE ANNOUNCED FOR JULY 1st

June 12th, 2014 - Online game developer Cyberstep is pleased to announce that the online game Onigiri will begin official service on July 1st. While the beta's closing date has been extended until June 19th, players can now also look forward to joining in on the official service on July 1st.

Onigiri is an exciting and action-packed MMORPG where the player takes on the role of one of the legendary Oni, roused from a peaceful and isolated life. Together with 8 NPC allies, each with their own personality and abilities, the player must venture to restore peace to the troubled land.

Set against a mythical backdrop of a magical and otherworldly Japan, only an Oni has the power to change fate, saving all from the deadly miasma and vile Kamikui! Utilize various skills and a wide variety of weapons, switching as needed for the monsters at hand. Gather upgrades and enhancements and execute devastating skills that leave no foe standing. Travel alone or with a Party of brave friends and face the challenges of fate head on!!

Special Bonuses for Players!

For participating in the Closed Beta Test and providing assistance in improving Onigiri, all beta players will receive special bonuses during the Official Release on July 1st! Beta players will get a head start in official service with the gift EXP and Money boosts, as well as “Soul Eggs” for revival whenever the path is too dangerous. In addition to that, players with a certain quest progression in the Beta Test may also be rewarded with Onigiri Coins, the in-game real-money currency!

Players who decide to charge during the Closed Beta Test or until June 28th will receive some extra bonuses thanks to the Early Bird Purchase Campaign!
