Seven Seas Continues Ebook Expansion to Kobo, iBooks, and Google Play

(LOS ANGELES, September 5, 2018) – After an aggressive year of expanding a digital catalog of over 700 manga and light novel ebooks--both backlist and frontlist titles--Seven Seas Entertainment is pleased to announce more digital platforms than ever. In addition to publishing ebooks through Amazon Kindle, BookWalker Global, Comixology, Barnes & Noble NOOK, and the Crunchyroll manga store app, now Seven Seas ebooks will also be available through Kobo, iBooks, and Google Play.

The first titles released on the Kobo, iBooks, and Google Play stores are available now: nearly 50 Seven Seas OEL titles, including all current volumes of Captive Hearts Of Oz and Hollow Fields (Color Edition), as well as today's new release of both Perfect Blue novels, in time for the new American theater run of the classic Satoshi Kon film. Rollouts of backlist and frontlist titles on these three new platforms will continue for months, with the next ebooks (available in September) including the influential Boogiepop light novels, the hit series Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!, the classic manga Captain Harlock: The Classic Collection, the critically acclaimed In This Corner of the World manga, and more.

“We're happy to cater to the growing number of people who want our manga and light novels in digital format, and that means making our ebooks as accessible as possible,” says Seven Seas Digital Manager CK Russell. “Our readers have requested ebooks on more platforms so they can read on their device of choice. We're happy to oblige!”

Seven Seas Entertainment titles are currently available to purchase on the Kobo, iBooks, and Google Play websites and in-device programs.
