Anime Los Angeles Announces J-Pop Duo FEMM to Perform at January 2020 Convention

LOS ANGELES, CA – December 10, 2019 - Animé Los Angeles 16 presents Japanese pop duo FEMM live on Friday, January 10th! The high-concept act, which Vice calls “a mesmerizing J-pop electro duo”, will perform at the annual anime and Japanese pop culture convention, and join fans for a VIP meet & greet event!

FEMM, featuring members RiRi and LuLa, debuted in 2014 with a series of slick, futuristic music videos including “Fxxk Boyz Get Money”, “Astroboy” and “Kill The DJ”. Backed by a stellar team of global producers and songwriters, their provocative and catchy sound is a fusion of Japanese Electronic, Global EDM, Hip Hop and experimental pop.

They have received praise from fans and music journalists alike, smashing boundaries and expectations with their genre-bending sound and cutting-edge image. Their debut release, Femm-Isation, included some of MTV Japan's most-played cuts, and their #1 video racked up over 2 million views on YouTube.

FEMM's performance on Friday, January 10th at 8 PM will be FREE to attend by anyone with an ALA badge. VIP Meet & Greet tickets will be going on sale Friday, December 13th at 12 PM. Ticket includes souvenir photo, autograph and a photo opportunity with FEMM (please bring your camera, a staff member will take the photo for you).

The FEMM VIP Meet & Greet will be held on Saturday, January 11th from 5:15 - 5:45 PM in room # OCC LP3 (please check schedule for updates).
