MediBang Paint is available in 17 different languages. Unlike most softwares from Japan, 86% of the users are from other countries. It is a program for illustration and manga that has the largest number of users.
Since it was released in November 2014, it has been spreading across the globe at a very fast pace for a digital paint program, with the support of the users. In 6 years, it reached 50 million downloads. This year, due to the COVID-19 situation, the demand for indoor activities increased. The number of downloads went up very quickly, and reached 40 million downloads in June 2020.
