Enjoy New Raider Content in Season 9 of Dragon Ball: The Breakers

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced that Season 9 of its asymmetrical multiplayer game DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS is officially live. Delivering the latest free update, Season 9 features a new raider, Broly(Z), an upgrade to two existing raiders (Cell and Majin Buu), and the implementation of a system to operate ranked matches and events on a monthly basis. DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS is available on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC via STEAM® and is compatible with PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. More information on the game is available at www.bandainamcoent.com/games/dragon-ball-the-breakers.

The new raider, Broly(Z), starts as Paragus accompanied by Broly who can also attack through player control. From here, the player can choose whether to evolve to LV2 or wait for the automatic evolution to LV3. If the player decides to transform into Broly (Super Saiyan) at level 2, they will have to fight in this form until the evolution gauge is full enough to reach LV4. Otherwise, the player can wait until the gauge reaches 200% to make Paragus automatically evolve from LV1 to LV3 Broly which makes it faster to evolve to LV4 and let Broly use his full destructive power upon survivors.

Aside from a new raider, Cell gets an update and gains access to a new active skill at LV4 “Make Them Suffer, Cell Juniors!” that summons up to 7 autonomous Cell Jrs (up to 3 can be active at the same time) that automatically attack enemies. Cell becomes even more dominant with this added skill, making perfect victories much more achievable.

Lastly Majin Buu will also receive a powerful new expansion and new form at LV4: Majin Buu (Gohan Absorbed). Survivors must compete with Buu for the powerful Super Transpheres, which he needs to absorb in order to evolve into Majin Buu (Gohan Absorbed) at Level 4. This new form retains Buu's high-risk, high-reward style while adding more stability in late-game battles.

DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS is an asymmetrical multiplayer game that pits seven Survivors, regular civilians trapped in a “Temporal Seam,” against a Raider, one of the famous rivals from the DRAGON BALL universe. The Survivors will have to team up to be able to escape their foe and come back to the safety of their world and timeline. The game shares the same universe as DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE and contains features that link DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 and DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS.
