Yen Press Licenses 3 New Manga, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Art Book

posted on by Joanna Cayanan

Yen Press announced on Thursday, as part of its "Anime Expo Day 0 announcements," three new manga licenses and the Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian: Momoco's Art Book.

Yen Press licensed Momose Hanada's manga adaptation of Harunadon's Even a Replica Can Fall in Love light novel series. Yen Press previously licensed the original light novels.

The company describes the manga:

Sunao has a replica, a double that takes her place whenever she doesn't feel like going to school, taking a test, or feels sick. But what happens when this replica learns about love? This complicated tale of love comes to manga print!

Yen Press also licensed Yutaka Sakurai's manga adaptation of Daigo Murasaki's Demon Lord 2099 (Maou 2099) light novel series, and will release it in a 3-in-1 omnibus volume. Yen Press also releases the original light novels.

Yen Press describes the omnibus volume:

Demon Lord Veltol is back in manga form! His tale of revival and conquest in a new, cyberpunk world where magic and technology intertwine will be rebound in a 3-in-1 omnibus volume!

Yen Press will also release Kōya Ashitaka's manga adaptation of Oumi Kifuru's Divine Incursion light novels. Yen Press recently announced in April that it had licensed the light novel series.

Yen Press describes the manga:

Titanic body parts fall from the sky onto a town. The guts and viscera of corpses are mysteriously absent. Katagishi of the Divine Incursions Special Investigations Department is on the case to uncover the truth of these phenomena.

Yen Press describes the Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian: Momoco's Art Book:

This full-color collection features illustrations from Volumes 1–8 of the light novels, plus promotional artwork, chibi illustrations, and even an exclusive short story by the original author, Sunsunsun!

Yen Press releases Sunsunsun and artist Momoco's Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian light novel series. The light novels inspired an anime adaptation that premiered in July 2024. The anime's second season will premiere in 2026.
