Ink Pop, Inklore Announce Partnership With Webtoon to Release 14 Titles in Print
posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Inklore and Ink Pop, both imprints of Random House, announced on Thursday at Anime Expo that both imprints have entered into an extended partnership with WEBTOON Entertainment to bring 14 of WEBTOON's webcomics into print over the next five years. These titles will include manga, manhwa, manhua, and webcomics.

Inklore will release Jeho Son and ZHENA's ELECEED webtoon in print in fall 2026, and will release Quimchee's I LOVE YOO and Lilydusk's Midnight Poppy Land series in 2027.
Inklore already publishes Rachel Smythe's Lore Olympus webcomic in print, and this title is not included in the 14 titles that are part of the new extended partnership.
Since its debut in 2018, ELECEED has been serialized in over 10 languages, including English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, French, and Spanish. It remains a consistent top performer on NAVER WEBTOON's battle-action charts in North America, Asia, and Europe. The series has surpassed 1.42 billion views globally.
The story of the series reads:
Jiwoo is a kind-hearted young man who harnesses the lightning quick reflexes of a cat to secretly make the world a better place – one saved little child or foster pet at a time. Kayden is a secret agent on the run, who finds himself stuck in the body of a…um…decidedly fat old fluffy cat. Together, armed with Jiwoo's super powers and Kayden's uber-smarts, they're out to fight those forces who would let evil rule this world. That is, if they can stand each other long enough to get the job done.
Fans can read the English version of the webtoon on WEBTOON.
ELECEED is inspiring a television anime adaptation from Dandelion Animation Studio in 2026.
WEBTOON describes Quimchee's I LOVE YOO, which launched in English on the service in April 2017.
Dogged by pain and misfortune from the very beginning, Shin-Ae decides she wants nothing to do with people nor anything to do with romance. Although content with her unsocial, boring, loveless existence, her lifestyle is challenged after she ruins an unsuspecting strangers' clothes.
WEBTOON describes Lilydusk's Midnight Poppy Land, which launched in English on the service in November 2019.
After making a grisly discovery in the countryside, a small town book editor's life gets entangled with a young Mafia lord and his intimidating bodyguard...even as every step she takes draws her deeper into the dangerous underworld of the city.
Inklore and Ink Pop will reveal more titles in the partnership at a later date.
Random House Graphic launched the Ink Pop imprint last November, and the imprint's first offerings include Umi Takase's I Wanna Be Your Girl (Kanojo ni Naritai Kimi to Boku) manga and Han Ryeo Yu and A Hyeon's My Life as an Internet Novel manhwa. The imprint focuses on work for kids and teens.
Inklore is an imprint of Random House Worlds that "is dedicated to celebrating the most popular, fan-driven tropes in visual storytelling, with a focus on the romance, fantasy, science-fiction, horror, and slice-of-life genres." The imprint publishes manga, manhwa, manhua, webcomics, and graphic novels.
