posted on by Joanna Cayanan
Kadokawa started the English simulpub release of writer Noa Nekoyashiki and artist Seira Minami's (The Rising of the Shield Hero light novel's illustrator) The Villainess is a Boy! (Akuyaku Reijō, Ore) manga on the BookWalker Global site on July 26.

Kadokawa describes the story:
He was an ordinary working guy in Japan...but accidentally reincarnated as Asuka, the villainess of a popular otome game "Love Revolution Kingdom."
In order to avoid being executed, he must not let the villain prince fall in love with Asuka. However, when Asuka started to act like she(he) didn't care about any of the boys, the characters including the prince became attracted to her.
Either love or friendship would lead him to a dead end...but all he wishes is to live his own life!!
The manga launched on Kadokawa's Kadocomi website on July 26. Nekoyashiki is writing the story, and Minami is drawing the manga. This is Minami's debut manga series.
Minami draws the illustration of Yusagi Aneko's The Rising of the Shield Hero light novel series, and its comedy spinoff light novels The Reprise of the Spear Hero. One Peace Books publish both novels in English.
The Rising of the Shield Hero anime's fourth season debuted in Japan on July 9. Crunchyroll streams the new season as it airs, and also streams an English dub.
