Your Summer 2025 Daily Streaming Reviews

The Double Stuf™ 2025 Preview Guide is still chugging along (look for more episode twos added today), but with polls closed, it's time to announce the readers' choices for Daily Streaming reviews. Since ANN readers appreciate knowing what they're getting in as much detail as possible: most Daily Streaming reviews will begin with episode 3, except for New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT, The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4, Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE, Sakamoto Days, Kaiju No. 8, and The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity. These series' episode reviews will start with episode 1 or episode 2.
Fans referred to the Summer 2025 anime season as "stacked" or "cracked" because of the sheer number of highly anticipated sequels and fan-favorite manga adaptations.
Now it's time for everyone's favorite little statistical treats. The most-requested series review this season belongs to DAN DA DAN Season 2, followed by Marin and Gojo's cosplay antics in My Dress-Up Darling Season 2. The Summer Hikaru Died brought up third place (reminder that I love this series and you can read an interview with manga creator Mokumokuren here and director Ryohei Takeshita here. If you were curious about all that live-action footage from episode two, Takeshita talks about visiting Mie prefecture multiple times while preparing the anime series).
The top five most-requested were rounded out by Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 (which hasn't premiered yet!) and Call of the Night Season 2.
