Jump TOON Reveals 5 New Manga Series, Kaiju No. 8 Manga's Full-Color Vertical-Scrolling Version

This year's 38th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday five new manga series that will launch on Shueisha's vertical-scrolling manga service Jump TOON in August and September. The magazine also revealed that Jump TOON will publish the vertical, full-color version of Naoya Matsumoto's Kaiju No. 8 manga starting on September 1.

The new manga series that will launch on Jump TOON are:

• Seirei Meikyū no Shinen wo Koete (Beyond the Abyss of the Spirit Labyrinth) by Nora Kohigashi (story), Moa (launches on August 28)
• Satsujin Reijō Charlotte (Murderous Lady Charlotte) by Ko Hiratori (story), Lemon Natsume (art) (launches on August 30)
• Watashi no Naka ni Keikoku no Akujo ga Imasu ga, Zettai ni Kuni wa Horoboshimasen! (There is a Beautiful Evil Woman Inside of Me, But I Will Absolutely Not Destroy the Country!) by Ayumi Sehira and Shueisha TOON FACTORY (launches on September 4)
• Zettai Ōja no Kikan (The Return of the Absolute Champion) by Manimani Ononata (story), NCOMIC (art) (launches on September 7)
• Battle Aristocracy by Ko Hiratori (story), Naoki Konno, UNO STUDIO (art) (launches on September 8)

Hiratori and J-ta Yamada's JK Haru Is a Sex Worker in Another World (JK Haru wa Isekai de Shōfu ni Natta) manga ended in September 2023. The manga is based on Hiratori and artist shimano's novels of the same name. Seven Seas Entertainment released the manga under its Ghost Ship imprint. J-Novel Club is releasing the original novels in English.

Ononata published the Tensei Shitara 15-sai no Ōhi Deshita: Moto Shachiku no Watashi ga, Toshishita no Kokuō Heika ni Semarareteimasu!? light novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website from May 2019 to September 2020. Kadokawa published two novel volumes with illustration by Hachipisu Wan. Square Enix's Manga UP! Global published the novel's manga adaptation by Atari Katagiri under the title Reincarnated as a 15-Year-Old Queen.

Kohigashi launched the I Could Never Be a Succubus! novels on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2017. J-Novel Club releases the novels in English.

Matsumoto's Kaiju No. 8 manga ended on July 18. Matsumoto launched the manga in July 2020 on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website. Viz Media is releasing the manga in English digitally and physically. Shueisha also published the manga digitally on its MANGA Plus service under the title Monster #8. The first season of the manga's anime adaptation debuted in April 2024, and the second season debuted on July 19. The franchise is also inspiring the Kaiju No. 8 the Game smartphone and PC game that will launch for iOS, Android, and PC via Steam. The App Store listing for the game states a release date of August 31.
