It's wonderful to hear that the condition of the remaining victims has improved. I'm honestly surprised: burns to a significant % of the body are very often fatal long after the burns were sustained, so I was fully expecting to hear the opposite news.

Best wishes for everyone's ongoing recovery!

Several employees have also stated that they have not been able to return to work due to mental trauma. I expect to hear some resignations soon. Understandable.

Great news!! Now we need to focus more on the mental aspect since that traumatic memory might be much harder to heal than physical injuries at later stage

I'm so, so glad to hear a bit of good news for the survivors. One step at a time. I hope they receive all the help they need to recover physically and emotionally.

Yes, and the longest hospital stays by far among the developed economies.

Wikipedia describes it as "universal health care" in the sense that everyone has access with heavily government-regulated prices and insurance. There appears to be some personal cost, but it's based on income and greatly reduced for expensive procedures. The US's habit of bankrupting people with absurd medical bills and insurance premiums basically doesn't happen anywhere else, certainly not in other developed countries.

I'm surprised that they "only" lost 20% of their staff... doesn't make it any less tragic or horrifying, but still. Assumed it was more like 50%. Though, ultimately, many of the injured will understandably not want to stick around.

Oh, thank goodness, we have a new ray of hope on the situation. I continue to wish the best recovery for all the victims, however long it may take.

Did a noticeable fist pump at the sight of the headline. Fantastic news. I hope the survivors can move on and live healthy lives.
