posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

This week's issue of Kadokawa's Weekly Famitsu magazine is unveiling a new game in Bandai Namco Entertainment's Super Robot Wars crossover franchise on Thursday. The magazine has teased a visual showing the silhouettes of some of the robots included in the game.

The magazine will have a six-page feature on the new game that includes an overview of the anime series joining the game, screenshots of the game's battle scenes, and an interview with the game's producer. The game is being developed for the Nintendo 3DS platform.

The Super Robot Wars games allow players to command mecha from various Japanese anime series in tactical battles. The latest game in the series, 3rd Super Robot Wars Z: Tengoku Arc, shipped in Japan on April 2 for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

One fan posted an unofficial, possible interpretation of the image, with Nadesico (Martian Successor Nadesico), Mazinger (Mazinger Z), Mazinkaizer SKL (Mazinkaizer SKL), GaoGaiGar (GaoGaiGar: King of the Braves), Raijin-Oh (Matchless Raijin-Oh), Aestivalis (Nadesico), YF-30 Chronos (Macross 30), Dunbine (Aura Battler Dunbine), Galient (Panzer World Galient), RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (Mobile Suit Gundam UC), YF-29 Durandal (Macross Frontier: Sayonara no Tsubasa), and Knight Gundam (SD Gundam).
