Seven Seas' Shinobi 7 Game Company Signs Distribution Deal With Diamond/Alliance

posted on by Karen Ressler

Seven Seas Entertainment's game company Shinobi 7 announced on Thursday that Diamond Comic Distributors/Alliance Game Distributors will exclusively distribute its product to the hobby game market, specialty comic shops, bookstores, and mass market.

Shinobi 7 also announced that it is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of publisher Seven Seas. The publisher initially launched Shinobi 7 as a joint venture with Ninja Division Publishing in 2016.

The company has thus far released Tokyo Ghoul: The Card Game, a deck-building game based on Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul, and My Little Pony: Tales of Equestria, a pen-and-paper roleplay based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. These games will be available through Ninja Division publishing until March 15, after which time they will be relisted with Diamond/Alliance.

Shinobi 7 also released the Space Dandy: Galactic Deck-Building Game, which Seven Seas' earlier games division funded on Kickstarter. When Seven Seas and Ninja Division first announced Shinobi 7, they also mentioned plans to create a miniature-based board game based on Strike Witches and an economy-based board game based on Spice and Wolf.
