The staff also revealed that the anime is getting a "selection broadcast" starting on October 14 that will screen selected episodes. The selection broadcast will air on TV Tokyo and TV Aichi on Mondays at 1:35 a.m. and on TV Osaka on Tuesdays at 1:05 a.m.

The show was originally listed with 51 episodes, but it will continue into a new season with episode 52 on October 2. The show will stay in its 6:25 p.m. Tuesday timeslot on TV Tokyo.

The anime premiered in Japan last October. Crunchyroll is streaming the series in Japanese with English subtitles, and Funimation is streaming the show's English dub. The show debuted on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block on December 2.

Tatsuya Yoshihara (Monster Musume, Yatterman Night, Muromi-san, Long Riders!) is directing the anime at Studio Pierrot. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Is the order a rabbit?, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Yatterman Night) is handling the series composition. Itsuko Takeda (Ristorante Paradiso, Level E, Blue Drop) is the character designer and Kumiko Tokunaga (2nd season of Kingdom) is the sub-character designer. Kosei Takahashi (key animation for Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON) is the prop designer, Aiko Shinohara (Fairy Tail, The Heroic Legend of Arslan) is handling the color design, and Minako Seki (The Silver Guardian, both seasons of Kingdom) is composing the music.
