Biglobe Poll: Spring Anime With Highest Interest Level

posted on by Ko Ransom

On Monday, the Japanese Internet service provider BIGLOBE posted its official pre-broadcast survey results on the most popular anime that will premiere in Japan this April. The poll launched on March 5 — before some anime were officially announced such as Lupin III - Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna — and lasted until March 19. Compared to a previous unofficial poll on the site asking a similar question, Hyouka, and Fate/Zero 2 switched positions, with Hyouka going from 3rd to 2nd place, while Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume jumped from 28th place to 4th.

Among the 7,987 self-selected responses from users of BIGLOBE's Anime One portal site, these were the top 35 choices:

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Dai-Ni-Maku, Nisemonogatari, and Listen to Me Girls, I'm Your Father! topped that poll. Biglobe also conducted a survey in January on the most popular fall anime. Fate/Zero, Ben-To, and Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai ranked at the top.
