BL Novels Let Readers Ride Off Into the Sunset On Bishonen Vehicles

posted on by Sarah Nelkin

Kadokawa Shoten's Ruby boys-love novel imprint shook up anime and manga fans by announcing on Wednesday that it will be releasing two new novels: Zokkon ~Aru Hi Bike ni Semerarete~ (With All My Heart ~One Day, I Was Pursued by a Motorbike~) and Zokkon ~Kare wa Kuruma ni Semerarete~ (With All My Heart ~He Was Pursued by a Car~) by author Nana Matsuyuki and artist Miyuki Kanemori. The former will be released on July 1, while the latter will be released on August 1. Both will be erotic boys-love novels.

The company lists the summaries:

"I'm your bike! Come on, hurry and ride me!!"
One day, I was pursued by a motorbike. When young man Aoi moves to the Country of Snow, an innocent man named Hayabusa (lit. hawk), who calls himself Aoi's bike, appears in front of him. Aoi finds this hard to believe so suddenly, but the memories Hayabusa speaks of are indeed the times that Aoi spent with his bike. To add to all of the craziness, Hayabusa suddenly says, "I've always been in love with you. Please straddle on me!" Although Aoi is at first troubled, as they continue to live together under the same roof, Aoi gives himself up to Hayabusa's passionate feelings. However, in front of them, a man claiming to be Aoi's car appears!

After a bike, a car!? ...Misato falls in love at first sight with his brother's roommate, Fitz (a possible reference to the Japanese pronunciation for "Mercedes Benz"). Although Fitz is a complete unknown entity, that gentlemanly attitude and sweet voice makes Misato fall in love with him with all his heart. He receives a confession from Fitz, who says he has the same feelings, and they begin their relationship, but...

Although the books haven't been released yet, the company even has a relationship chart uploaded.

Fans of boys-love and vehicles will only have to wait till July for the first novel to steer its way into Japanese bookstores.
