Namjatown Adds Elaborate Desserts for Kamigami no Asobi
posted on by Eric Stimson
Namco NAMJATOWN, the indoor theme park in Ikebukuro's Sunshine City shopping complex with a history of elaborate anime tie-ins, is at it again, this time collaborating with the new spring anime Kamigami no Asobi. Its gyōza restaurant, Namja Gyōza Stadium, and dessert cafe, Fukubukuro Dessert Yokochou, will serve the usual variety of creatively presented food meant to evoke the anime's cast of studly gods.
Hades's gyōza look even more like roses when sauce is added.

Tsukito's gyōza are iris-flavored — apparently to match his hair.

Loki's gyōza evoke the dahlia flower.

At the dessert cafe, patrons can eat a pancake with Takeru on it.

Here's the exquisite "Kabbalah parfait" that represents Anubis.

And if you really have a sweet tooth, consider Balder and Loki's "juicy and sweetie cake."

As a bonus, customers get a free bromide with each purchase.
Naturally, the promotion involves many other goodies with the Kamigami cast, who are generally sporting adorable cat ears. A raffle lets you win either these placemats, badges, bookmarks, or bromides (in descending order of likelihood). The participation fee is 300 yen (about US$2.94).

There is also a crane game to win these thermoses.

Finally, these stamp-styled stickers, a bromide album, and a "passport holder" meant to hold your NAMJATOWN entry ticket.

If your purchase exceeds 1,000 yen (or US$9.82), you can get one of these postcards.

NAMJATOWN's Kamigami no Asobi promotion lasts from July 4 to August 31.
