Japanese Netizens Pick the Most Handsome Pokémon

Charmander was Japanese college student's and ANN readers' favorite original starter Pokémon but gamers had a different pick when it came to the "most handsome." Plenty of attention is given to cute Pokémon, but a different set of criteria is considered when picking a handsome team of fighters.

The top choice was the scientifically-created Mewtwo. Voters found his appearance stylish and his top-tier fighting prowess as nothing to scoff at.

In second place was the legendary psychic-flying Pokémon Lugia from Pokémon Silver.

Rounding out third is Charizard, a Pokémon that has captivated plenty of trainers since his debut in the first generation of games.
