Super Mario Odyssey's Hero Gets Tall in Grand Theft Auto IV Crossover Video

Between illustrating Mario's short stature in comparison to "real" humans and revealing a metropolis called "New Donk City," Nintendo's trailer for its upcoming Super Mario Odyssey Switch game is raising many eyebrows among gamers. As a response, YouTube user CrowbCat created a crossover video that shows a taller version of Super Mario Odyssey's hero in the world of the Grand Theft Auto IV game. According to CrowbCat, "Mario discovers the real world but it isn't as fun as he thought it'd be."
The poor Italian plumber has a rude awakening as he returns to world of humans. (He is human, right?) Fans will have to wait a while to see how this saga unfolds. Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 livestream event last week that Super Mario Odyssey is slated for release in the holiday season of 2017. Here is the real trailer:
In Nintendo's actual game, Mario leaves the Mushroom Kingdom to "go on a new sandbox-style journey." Yoshiaki Koizumi, the game's producer, said that Mario's eyed cap will play an "important role in Mario's journey" in the game.
