Airbrush System for Gunpla Models Ships in February

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Gunpla builders have a new way to get a smooth finish when coloring their prized plastic model kits. GSI Creos unveiled its Gundam Marker Airbrush System at the 57th All Japan Model & Hobby Show event, which was held at Tokyo Big Sight from September 29 to October 1.

The airbrush system lets users turn Gundam Markers into airbrush pens with their breath. Gunpla builders can switch out the markers to apply a different color to their Gundam models.

The airbrush system will include the airbrush unit and three markers for 3,400 yen (about US$30). The set is slated to go on sale in February. GSI Creos already offers a variety of Gundam Markers.

Some of the newest Gunpla models went on display at the 56th Shizuoka Hobby Show in May. Two creative Gunpla builders also revealed their camouflage and 2D-style creations earlier this year.
