Otakon 2025 Hosts Illustrator CHRIS

CHRIS is known for providing the 2013 illustration of "Magical Mirai" and "Snow Miku," as well as other "Magical Mirai"-related illustrations and Nendoroids. The illustrator has also provided work in the Vocaloid community for singer Rib and Vocaloid composer Mikito-P's three-part song series for "Sarishinohara," "Yonjuunana," and "Akaito," and also served as the artist for the manga of "Sarishinohara" and Novala Takemoto's novel adaptation. They illustrated Soraru's "Usotsuki Majo to Haiiro no Niji" Vocaloid music video.
CHRIS's most recent work includes illustrations for the "Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku: Project VOLTAGE" music video and HoYoVerse's Zenless Zone Zero game.
Otakon 2025 is scheduled for August 8-10 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The event will also host voice actors Nobutoshi Canna and Ryōko Shiraishi.
Last year's event took place in August 2024 and reached 46,000 attendants, setting a new record.
