Taste Food Wars' Latest Plates at J-World

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The J-World Tokyo theme park is serving up some of Food Wars!' hottest plates from the latest season. Visitors can take their tongue on a culinary journey with Soma's Home Pepper Mochi, Terunori Kuga's Mapo Doufu with Rice, and Etsuya Eizan's Hainanese Chicken Rice.

This marks the theme park's third menu recreation from the cooking anime series. All three menu items were completely supervised by Yuki Morisaki, the culinary researcher for the Shokugeki no Sōma manga series.

Soma's pepper Rice cakes were made with wheat flour, the meat bean paste was fried with oyster sauce and ginkgo powder and baked wrapped in a leek.

The Mapo Doufu has a fragrant pepper paste smell exuding over silky tofu for an overall spicy dish.

The Hainanese Chicken Rice's Rice is cooked in chicken broth and paired with soft chicken thigh meat, tomato, cucumber, and coriander. It comes with three sauces to enjoy: chili, ginger, and dark soy sauce.

Soma's meat buns are 780 yen and the doufu and chicken Rice are 920 yen. The menu will launch at J-World on October 21.
