Hajime no Ippo Voice Actor Kohei Kiyasu Announces Marriage, Child

Voice actor Kohei Kiyasu announced on his official Twitter account on Sunday that he has entered the family register, and his wife has given birth to a son. He said he had wanted to make the announcement as soon as possible but he had trouble finding a good opportunity.
Kiyasu said that his son was born this fall during the run of his "Denen ni Kuchizuke" (Kiss in the Country) stage play. Kiyasu wrote and directed the play, which ran at The Suzunari theater in Tokyo from September 22 to October 1.
Kiyasu also posted on Instagram a photograph (seen above) of himself and his son. He noted that his son did not like to be held for the picture.
Kiyasu's anime roles include Hajime no Ippo's Ippo Makunouchi, The Prince of Tennis' Kaoru Kaidō, Fafner's Sōshi Minashiro, and Hoop Days' Kazuhiko Aikawa.
