Light novel authors Carlo Zen (The Saga of Tanya the Evil), Natsuya Semikawa (Isekai Izakaya "Nobu"), Hōkō Tsuda (Yaruki Nashi Eiyūtan), Tappei Nagatsuki (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-), Katsuie Shibata (Hito Yoru no Nagai Yume), Natsu Hyūga (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) are collaborating on a self-published light novel titled The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Isekai for Comic Market (Comiket) 96. The Saga of Tanya the Evil illustrator Shinobu Shinotsuki provided the cover illustration for the book.

The synopsis is as follows: "These days, everyone and everything seems to get thrown into an isekai (other world). Perhaps you may be the next person to journey through another world. Are you prepared? Mentally, as well as physically? The six authors have assembled the things you need to bring and the things you need to know in order to allay your worries about transferring or reincarnating into another world. If you study up on their experiences and their stories (n=6), then you'll do fine no matter which world you get thrown into... probably. Let this book be the strongest contender for developing the Nobel Isekai Prize! Be sure to come to the 'Sakka Keihan' (Author Light Meal) circle at Comiket!"

The circle will be located at the West hall B-01a in Tokyo Big Sight on August 11.
