The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses Anime to Debut on July 5

The official website for the television anime of writer Norishiro-chan and artist Yukiji Setsuda's The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses (Kizetsu Yūsha to Ansatsu Hime) manga posted the anime's July 5 premiere date and main visual on Saturday. The visual shows Ciel, Anemone, and Gore whispering "Shhh!" as they wield their weapons behind Toto's back.

The anime will first premiere for free exclusively on the ABEMA streaming service in Japan on July 5 at 11:00 p.m. (10:00 a.m. EDT). It will then air on the Tokyo MX and Sun TV channels on July 12 at 10:30 p.m. (9:30 a.m. EDT), and then run on BS11 and Tochigi TV.

The cast members include:
- Shunsuke Takeuchi as protagonist Toto
- Iori Saeki as Ciel
- Hitomi Ueda as Anemone
- Haruka Shiraishi as Gore
Noriaki Akitaya (Bakuman., Castle Town Dandelion, The Unwanted Undead Adventurer) is directing the anime at CONNECT. Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, Tsurune, Train to the End of the World) is in charge of the series scripts. Takao Sano (Chitose Get You!!, Shomin Sample, The Unwanted Undead Adventurer) is designing the characters. Shun Narita is composing the music.
The voice cast members for Ciel, Anemone, and Gore perform the ending theme song "Suki Magazine."
The manga debuted in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in October 2022. Akita Shoten published the manga's 11th compiled book volume on on April 8.
