A.D. Vision

Another DVD re-release from ADV, this time it's Wicked City, not the live action film, but the 1992 Anime. The English soundtrack of this feature has been remastered for Dolby 5.1, however the Japanese audio remains 2.0. Other features include an interview with director Yoshiaki Kawajiri, character biographies and the original theatrical trailer.

Escaflowne Vol. 1
Dragons & Destiny

For everyone who has seen Escaflowne on Fox and wants to see it in its proper presentation, here it is on DVD!, as well as on VHS dub. The subtitled version was already released several years ago, but the dub and DVD release are new. Unfortunately the unedited dub costs $5 more than the Fox version.

Bandai's new series, Tenamonya Voyagers, is being released on November 7th. This is to be the Anime industry's first DVD only release; there will be NO VHS release.

Ayako, a new teacher, and Wakana, a student, both have to return home to Earth after their school goes bankrupt. They meet up with an unusual girl named Paraila and decided to make the journey together. However, Paraila is no ordinary girl--she's a boss in the international crime syndicate known as the Jaokai. Or rather, a former boss... With the police and the syndicate after her, Paraila continues her mad dash for Earth--with poor Ayako and Wakana, who are now considered her accomplices!

Outlaw Star DVD Collection Volume 1

This 2 DVD set is great news for Outlaw Star fans, 9 episodes in one package for only $44.98. Release date October 3rd.

The final volume of Blue Submarine #6 (Volume 4) also hits the streets on October 3rd as well as the final (7th) volume of Silent Möbius.

Right Stuf also has Bandai's Don't Leave Me Alone, Daisy mini Box set listed for release on December 5th.

Manga Entertainment

ADV isn't the only company re-releasing everything on DVD, Manga will be releasing Momoru Oshii's Patlabor 2 on DVD, September 26th.

Patlabor 2 takes place in 2002, 3 years after Patlabor 1 (Which Manga released on DVD a short while back).
