Bandai Promotional Press Release for the upcoming release of Arjuna Volume 1. Nothing particularly new, but it does cover DVD features and mentions the AX Arjuna promotion.

Bandai Entertainment announced today the release of Arjuna exclusively for DVD home video release. Created and directed by famed animator, Shoji Kawamori – The original creator of Macross (Broadcast in North America as Robotech), Macross Plus, Escaflowne, and featuring music soundtrack by composer Yoko Kanno – Cowboy Bebop, Macross Plus, and Escaflowne – Arjuna arrives on 10/8/2002.

Juna's life is filled with school, clubs, and boys; but when an accident leaves her clinging tenuously between life and death, fate intervenes as she becomes the sole witness to scenes of Earth's destruction along with humanity's reckless pollution of the sky, the Earth, and water. It is here in which Juna is given a new chance at life and bestowed the powers of the Earth, a power she must wield in order to stop an evil bent on Earth's destruction.

Bandai Entertainment recently unveiled its Arjuna promotion campaign at the largest Japanese animation convention in the world - Anime Expo 2002. Over 15,000 Arjuna Anime Guide DVD's were distributed at Anime Expo with plans to bundle them in the upcoming issue of anime magazine newcomer, Newtype: The Moving Pictures Magazine.
