Errata: Innocence not first Anime at Cannes

We stated recently that Innocence was the first ever anime shown at Cannes. This is incorrect. While we were aware that anime had been shown at the separate Director's Fortnight, it turns out that anime has also been screened at the official festival as well. In fact, the original Ghost in the Shell screened in 2000. Innocence was, however, the first anime to compete for the Palme D'Or.
