GARNiDELiA, Rei Yasuda Perform The irregular at magic high school's New Songs

The official Twitter account and website for The irregular at magic high school television anime announced the second set of opening and ending theme songs on Sunday. The musical duo GARNiDELiA is contributing the opening "grilleto," while singer Rei Yasuda is contributing the ending "Mirror."
GARNiDELiA vocalist Maria gained fame (and two million views) through her vocal and dance work on video-sharing sites, and she served as a guest vocalist at live concerts for JIN (Shizen no Teki-P) and other artists. The duo's composer Toku is known for his arrangement and sound producing work for such artists as LiSA, Angela Aki, and Antic Cafe. His song "SPiCa" garnered over 1 million hits alone, and his song catalogue collectively drew 10 million hits.
The two met in 2010 and collaborated on the Freezing anime's theme song "Color" before they formed GARNiDELiA. (The name is an anagram of the phrase Le Palais Garnier de Maria or "Maria's Opera," and Cordelia, a moon of Uranus that was discovered in the same year that toku was born.) They already performed overseas in 2012, and they have since performed the second opening theme song for Kill la Kill. GARNiDELiA said that "grilleto" represents the bravery of characters who are undaunted by impossible circumstances, as they press on and never give up.
Yasuda was born on April 15, 1993 in the United States, and she then moved to Japan at the age of 3. She passed an audition for the musical unit Genki Rockets when she was 13, and thus began performing as a vocalist. She "wanted to directly reach more people's hearts with my own voice," so she made her solo debut in 2013. In January, iTunes named her "New Artist 2014." She already sang ending theme songs for Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and The File of Young Kindaichi Returns.
The "grilleto" CD single will ship on July 30, while the "Mirror" single will debut on September 3.
