Mad Bull 34 Manga Available in English on Renta

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Discotek released the original video anime adaptation last year

The first volume of Kazuo Koike and Noriyoshi Inoue's original Mad Bull 34 manga is available digitally in English via Renta!. The volume costs two "tickets" (US$2) to rent or five "tickets" (US$5) to purchase.

Renta! describes the story:

Daizaburo Eddy Ban is a new policeman who's been sent to District 34, an area of Manhattan rampant with crime. His partner is "Mad Bull," a huge, black policeman named Sleepy. Watch as these policemen use unconventional methods to stop the bad guys! It's a thrilling, erotic, stress-relieving comic!

Koike and Inoue's Mad Bull 34 manga began in Shueisha's Young Jump magazine in 1986 and was then adapted into a four-episode anime series directed by Satoshi Dezaki beginning in 1990. Manga Entertainment had previously released the anime series with an English dub in North America. Discotek licensed the series and released it with an English dub and subtitles last year.
