The official website for the anime of Cool Kyōshinsha's four-panel web manga I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying (Danna ga Nani o Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken) updated on Monday. It began streaming the first promotional video, unveiled more of the voice cast and staff, and revealed information on the theme songs.

Text: You've never seen this kind of married couple! The flirty and loving life of an otaku and an office lady

The manga follows the daily life of an earnest, hardworking office lady named Kaoru and her otaku husband, Hajime, who is totally immersed in a certain huge net bulletin board system.

Yukari Tamura (Kill la Kill's Nui!) and Kenichi Suzumura (Senyū.'s Foifoi) will star as Kaoru and Hajime, respectively. The two will also perform the show's theme song "Ii Kagen ni Shite, Anata" as their characters.

The rest of the cast includes:

Rie Kugimiya as Rino Juse, Kaoru's close friend since high school
Toshifumi Sakai as Nozomu Juse, Rino's husband
Ryoko Shintani as Tanaka-san, another of Kaoru's close friends since high school
Daisuke Tonosaki as Yamada, Tanaka's husband
Sayaka Horino as Mayotama, who looks like a girl at first glance, but is a boy upon close inspection… He is Hajime's younger brother
Kaori Shimizu as Miki-san, a detective

Shinpei Nagai (Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san) is directing and writing the anime at the studio Seven. Ryūichi Baba is designing the characters and serving as the animation director. Masakatsu Oomuro (Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san) is serving as sound director at Dax Production, and G-angle is composing the music. Dream Creation is producing the project.

Cool Kyōshinsha serializes the manga online, and Ichijinsha published the fourth compiled volume of the manga on June 27.

The 13-episode anime will premiere in Japan on October 2.
