Free Manga Talk at London Cartoon Museum on November 4

Helen McCarthy on the history of manga.
The British author Helen McCarthy will give a talk on 'A Brief History of Manga' at London's Cartoon Museum (directions) on November 4, 6.30 to 7.30 p.m (doors open at 6 p.m.). McCarthy has recently published a book under the same name, pictured.
The Cartoon Museum is also currently running an exhibition on 'gekiga,' alternative manga. Anyone attending McCarthy's talk can also see the gekiga exhibition for the special price of £2.
