J.C. Staff will animate the risque comedy this summer

Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint announced the cast and staff for the television anime series Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai (A Boring World Where the Concept of 'Dirty Jokes' Doesn't Exist) on Monday. The cast includes:

Hirotaka Akagi's original light novels' story is set 16 years after the "Law for Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising" banned coarse language in the country. Tanukichi Okuma enrolls in the country's leading elite public morals school and is soon invited into the Anti-Societal Organization (SOX) by its founder, Ayame Kajō. As a member blackmailed into joining by Ayame, Tanukichi ends up taking part in obscene acts of terrorism against the talented student council president Anna (for whom Tanukichi has a crush).

Youhei Suzuki (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) will direct the series with series scripts by Masahiro Yokotani (Free! Eternal Summer, Riddle Story of Devil) at J.C. Staff. Masahiro Fujii (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, Hayate the Combat Butler!!, The Familiar of Zero) will adapt Eight Shimotsuki's original character designs.

Akagi launched the light novel series with illustrations by Eight Shimotsuki in 2012, and Shogakukan published the eighth volume on Wednesday. N' Yuzuki has been drawing a manga adaptation in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade magazine since last year.

The series will premiere in July.
