2nd Live-Action Assassination Classroom Film Casts Hiroki Narimiya as Yanagisawa

The staff of Ansatsu Kyōshitsu: Sotsugyō-hen (Assassination Classroom: Graduation Edition~), the second live-action Assassination Classroom (Ansatsu Kyōshitsu) film, announced on Thursday that it has cast Hiroki Narimiya (live-action Gokusen, NANA) for the role of Kōtarō Yanagisawa. The staff unveiled a visual of Narimiya (seen below, bottom photograph) in costume as his character, and Mirei Kiritani (top photograph) in costume as her character Aguri Yukimura.
Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced Kiritani's casting in September, along with the original "God of Death." [highlight white text to read spoilers] Arashi band member Kazunari Ninomiya, who is voicing Koro-sensei for the live-action films, will play the God of Death. Narimiya and Kiritani will play their characters in a flashback scene that shows how the the God of Death turned into Koro-sensei.
The film will open in Japan on March 25. Advance tickets will go on sale on Saturday, and the first 50,000 people to purchase them will receive an exclusive clear file.
The first live-action film adaptation opened in Japan on March 21. The Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal hosted the film's international premiere on July 17. The Fantastic Fest film festival, held in Austin, Texas from September 24 to October 1, screened the film's US premiere.
