Yui Ogura sings "Future Strike" for anime by Lyrical Nanoha creator Masaki Tsuzuki

The official website of ViVid Strike!, the new television anime by Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha creator and scriptwriter Masaki Tsuzuki, began streaming the anime's first promotional video on Wednesday. The video previews the anime's opening theme song "Future Strike" by Yui Ogura, and reveals the anime's October 1 premiere on Tokyo MX, MBS, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS 11.

The video begins with protagonist Fuuka Leventon and her friend Rinne Bellinetta, showing their past as impoverished and bullied children. Fuuka proclaims that she wants to get stronger to protect the things she loves, but that things like happiness and the things she loves eventually get destroyed, so she is done with losing things because she is weak.

The show will star:

Inori Minase as Fuuka Leventon (name romanization not confirmed)
