The February issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday GX magazine revealed on Thursday that Hajime Yamamura will end his Aoki Ao no Atopos (Blue, Blue, Atopos) manga in the next issue on February 18.

The young-adult science-fiction story follows second-year middle school student Masato Shirohara. One day, the entire crew of a resource survey ship goes missing. Could it be the work of pirates, aliens, or spies? Masato gets caught up in the incident, and meets Kagari Utō, a beautiful girl who suddenly appears before him. Little does Masato know, that Kagari will be the key to drastically changing his fate.

Yamamura launched the manga in Monthly Sunday GX in September 2013. Shogakukan published the sixth compiled book volume in October.

Yamamura's Kamisama Dolls manga ended in February 2013. The series inspired a 13-episode anime series that aired from July to September 2011. Crunchyroll streamed Kamisama Dolls in various countries as it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks released the series on home video in North America.
