Namie Amuro Performs New Opening Theme for One Piece Anime Starting on October 1

The official website for the One Piece anime revealed on Tuesday that Namie Amuro will perform the new opening theme song for the anime, starting with the upcoming one-hour special. The theme song is titled "Hope."
Amuro previously performed the anime's 14th opening theme song "Fight Together." She also performed the theme song for the 2015 two-hour special, One Piece Special – Adventure of Nebulandia.
The site also revealed a new visual for the special.

The one-hour special will air on Sunday, October 1 starting at 9:00 a.m. One Piece usually airs back-to-back with Dragon Ball Super, which will get its own one-hour special on October 8 at the same time. Each one-hour special will feature two episodes of the television series.
One Piece also received a two-hour "Episode of East Blue" (One Piece Episode of East Blue: Luffy to 4-nin no Nakama no Daibōken) special that aired on August 26 from 9:00 p.m to 11:10 p.m. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the special.
