Dentsu, DreamWorks Plan TV Animation for Medicom's Be@rbrick Figures

posted on by Egan Loo

The Japanese advertising sponsor Dentsu and DreamWorks Animation Television announced that they signed an agreement to jointly produce and develop a television animation project based on Medicom Toy's Be@rbrick figures.

Be@rbrick toys are bear-shaped block figures from Medicom Toy. The Japanese toy line features collaborations with Disney, DC Comics, Despicable Me, One-Punch Man, Astro Boy, and many other properties.

Dentsu negotiated the contract through its American subsidiary Dentsu Entertainment USA. DreamWorks Animation Television is the subsidiary of the animation studio best known for film franchises such as Shrek, Madagascar, and How to Train Your Dragon.
