Anime Festival Asia, GameStart Asia Organizers Enter Strategic Partnership

Anime Festival Asia organizer SOZO and GameStart Asia organizer Eliphant announced on Wednesday that they have formed a strategic partnership to strengthen their existing events and develop new events in Asia. Both companies will collaborate to bring the GameStart Asia event to Indonesia.
The companies announced that the alliance is the first step to an "integrated support system to further strengthen the community."
Sozo organizes the Anime Festival Asia conventions, which are held annually in Singapore, and has also previously held events in Bangkok and Jakarta. The event is one of the largest anime and Japanese pop-culture conventions outside Japan. 2015's Anime Festival Asia in Singapore drew 90,669 visitors. Aside from Anime Festival Asia and its attached I Love Anisong label, Sozo also owns JLive Asia, and organizes the Japan Music Festival brand.
Last year, Sozo partnered with Japanese content company Sotsu Co., Ltd. to bring together the Sozo's Anime Festival Asia and Sotsu's C3 brand and events, holding events in Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong. This year Anime Festival Asia will have events in Indonesia and in Singapore.
The GameStart Asia game convention launched in 2014 in Singapore. This year's event will take place on October 13-14 in Singapore.
