Sol Press Licenses Yotsunoha Visual Novel, 2 Light Novels

Sol Press announced on Wednesday that it has licensed hiqo-soft's Yotsunoha visual novel and is aiming to release the English version on July 27. In addition, the company announced that it has licensed Yuki Shinobu's Strongest Gamer - Let’s Play in Another World and Kouka Kishine's Battle Divas - The Incorruptible Battle Blossom Princess light novels and is planning to release the first volumes digitally on April 30.

The product pages for the light novels note that they will receive print releases if they reach a certain number of digital sales. Sol Press is streaming videos for all three titles.

Sol Press will release both the all-ages version and the 18+ version simultaneously. hiqo-soft published the original adult game in 2006, and the visual novel inspired a two-episode original video anime in 2008.

Overlap published the first volume of Strongest Gamer - Let’s Play in Another World (Saikyō Gamer, Isekai nite Jkkyō Play-chū) with illustrations by Itsuwa Katō in October 2015 and the second volume in February 2016.

Overlap published the original Battle Divas - The Incorruptible Battle Blossom Princess (Senka no Maihime: Senka no Himegimi wa Yogorenai) with illustrations by Nekonabeao in October 2015, and two follow-ups in March 2016 and June 2016.

Sol Press formed in February 2017. The company ran successful Kickstarter campaigns for hiqo-soft's Sakura Sakura and Laplacian's Newton and the Apple Tree visual novels, which are both available for preorder.
