Megumi Han Covers Black Clover Ending Theme for Episode 50

posted on by Karen Ressler
Tuesday's episode ended the Seabed Temple Arc

The 50th episode of Black Clover aired on Tuesday with a cover of the ending theme song "four" by Megumi Han as her character Kahono. All-female dance and vocal group FAKY perform the regular version of the song, which debuted as the ending theme with the 40th episode in July.

The show was originally listed with 51 episodes, but it will continue past this with a new season in October. Episode 50 marked the end of the Seabed Temple Arc of Yūki Tabata's original manga.

The anime premiered in Japan last October. Crunchyroll is streaming the series in Japanese with English subtitles, and Funimation is streaming the show's English dub. The show debuted on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block on December 2.

Tatsuya Yoshihara (Monster Musume, Yatterman Night, Muromi-san, Long Riders!) is directing the anime at Studio Pierrot. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Is the order a rabbit?, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Yatterman Night) is handling the series composition. Itsuko Takeda (Ristorante Paradiso, Level E, Blue Drop) is the character designer and Kumiko Tokunaga (2nd season of Kingdom) is the sub-character designer. Kosei Takahashi (key animation for Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON) is the prop designer, Aiko Shinohara (Fairy Tail, The Heroic Legend of Arslan) is handling the color design, and Minako Seki (The Silver Guardian, both seasons of Kingdom) is composing the music.
