2nd Girls und Panzer das Finale Anime Film's 2nd Teaser Video Reveals June 15 Debut

The official Twitter account for the six-part Girls und Panzer das Finale film series announced on Sunday that the film will open in Japan on June 15, 2019. The account also revealed a new key visual. The show's official website is also streaming a second teaser video.
The first Girls und Panzer das Finale film opened in Japan in 59 theaters in December 2017. The film features new characters from BC Freedom High School as they engage in a winter battle.
The Finale anime project will also have immersive 4DX and MX4D screenings, after the project's second episode ends its initial run of regular screenings. Each of the immersive screenings will combine two episodes; the first ones will combine the first and second episodes. The next set of immersive screenings will combine the third and fourth episodes, and the last set will combine the fifth and sixth episodes.
Sayaka Sasaki is performing the opening theme song "Grand symphony" for the first three episodes. ChouCho, who performed the opening theme song for the television anime and the 2015 film, is returning as the opening theme song artist for the project's last three episodes.
The original Girls und Panzer television anime series aired for 12 episodes in 2012-2013. The Girls und Panzer der Film anime film followup opened in Japan in November 2015. Certain theaters in Japan continued to screen the film through its one-year anniversary on November 21, 2016.
A two-hour Dai 63 Kai Sensha-dō Zenkoku Kōkōsei Taikai Sōshūhen (63rd National High School Sensha-dō Tournament Compilation) anime film, which compiles the television anime and OVA, screened in theaters in Japan starting on September 29. The Blu-ray Disc and DVD release of the compilation will ship in Japan on February 23, 2019.
Sentai Filmworks released the original anime and the OVA on home video in December 2013. The company licensed the 2015 film, and collaborated with Eleven Arts to release the film theatrically in the United States in November 2016 with an English dub. Sentai Filmworks released the film on home video in May 2017.
