The cast includes (left to right in image above):

  • Takumi Kitamura as Naomi Katagaki, the film's shy 16-year-old high school protagonist

The film is set in Kyoto in the year 2027. The film's teaser video shows famous Kyoto spots such as Fushimi Inari Taisha and Kamo Shrine. The teaser hints at a time travel story, with the text "If I could do it all over again," and "The one who held your hand to protect your future was myself in the future."

Ito (Sword Art Online franchise, ERASED) is directing the film at Graphinica (Expelled from Paradise). Mado Nozaki (Bablyon novel series, KADO - The Right Answer) is writing the screenplay, and Yukiko Horiguchi (K-ON!, Lucky Star, Tamako Love Story) is designing the characters.
