Aniplex+ also offers 1/7-scale Rin Tohsaka figure (battle version)

Aniplex of America announced during its Otakon panel on Saturday that it will release a complete Blu-ray box set for the Fate/Extra Last Encore anime series on October 22. The set will include all 13 episodes with Japanese and English audio tracks, English subtitles, promotional video and commercial collections, clean opening and ending animation sequences, a deluxe booklet, and a rigid box with an exclusive Illustration. (The set's bonus contents and materials are subject to change.)

The Aniplex+ online store will also offer a 1/7-scale figure of the character Rin Tohsaka in her battle suit from the anime.

The 10-episode main television anime of the Fate/Extra game premiered on January 27, 2018 under the subtitle "Oblitus Chidōsetsu" (Oblitus Heliocentrism). Netflix began streaming the anime outside of Japan on June 30, 2018. The three-episode Fate/Extra Last Encore: Illustrias Tendōsetsu (Illustrias Geocentrism) special then aired on July 29, 2018.

Akiyuki Simbo (March comes in like a lion, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) was the chief director of the anime at the studio SHAFT. Yukihiro Miyamoto (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Arakawa Under the Bridge) served as series director. Along with Hiroki Yamamura, Masaaki Takiyama (Tokyo ESP, Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!) designed the characters based on Rco Wada's (Wadarco) original designs and served as chief animation director. Type-Moon and Marvelous were credited for the original game and original Fate/stay night creator Kinoko Nasu was in charge of the series scripts. Satoru Kousaki (Bakemonogatari, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) composed the music.

Marvelous Entertainment and Type-Moon released the Fate/Extra PlayStation Portable game in Japan in 2010. Aksys Games released the game in North America in November 2011. The Fate/Extra CCC companion game shipped in Japan on the PSP in March 2013.
