Crunchyroll Announces 'First-Ever Special Screening in India' in Mumbai

Crunchyroll announced on its Indian Instagram account on Saturday that it will host its "first-ever special screening in India" on July 20 at 5:30 p.m. IST at Maison PVR, Jio World Drive Mumbai. Registrations for the event are open and the company will allocate seats for the screening on a first-come, first-served basis.

The screening is in collaboration with Comic-Con India.

Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it has entered into a promotional partnership with Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The company stated that the partnership intends to "promote the art of anime in India."

Crunchyroll did giveaways for free 30-day subscriptions to attendees who visited the streaming service's experience zone at Mumbai Comic-Con 2023. Crunchyroll attended the Bengaluru Comic-Con, Delhi Comic-Con, and Mumbai Comic-Con events this year.
