Haruka Nanase's Waiting for the Sunlight Manga Ends in October

Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform announced on Thursday it will publish the final chapter of Haruka Nanase's Waiting for the Sunlight manga on October 23.

MANGA Plus publishes the series in English and describes the story:

Summer of 1940 in Shigaraki, Shiga Prefecture. Yoko Matsubara is a young girl with a talent for pottery. She dreams of becoming a ceramic artist, unaware of the horrors yet to come… In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of World War II, Shonen Jump+ presents an untold account of life during the war.

Nanase launched the series on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform on January 2. Shueisha shipped the first compiled book volume on August 4.
